I know how you feel, when I first started marketing adult 12 years ago it was mostly hit and miss...ebooks & learn how to videos were non existent then for that niche or any so to say...

I like you went to a board looking for a mentor to learn the ins n outs of the game...and I was fortunate enough to befriend one of the best...
And in return was able to get into a network of webmasters who were serious about what they were doing and breaking ground in new areas. Those people motivated me to get involved in developing webmaster scripts / software and as well building a traffic network.

The learning curve is never ending in regards to new tricks and tips, whether it be whitehat, greyhat, or blackhat marketing... and regardless of the niche/market.

If you want your welcome to give me a shout via icq,skype or email and I can give you some pointers in between breaks. I guess its karma, me landing on this thread because I always believed in what comes around goes around... good business only.

In regards to forums, they can be your best resources of information... under estimated is the "search function" on every board.
Every board is what you make out of it and what you put into it.
Ask questions, ask more questions and through networking with other members you will find the right path...
