I decided that my Dad needed something special for Christmas this year so I arranged for him to see his favorite singer in London after a 30 year comeback... A Night With Julie Andrews... coming May 2010 at the O2 arena.
Not only will it be his first trip to London, it will also be the first live performance he has ever seen of her.
Hoping possibly I can arrange a backstage pass as well so he can get a chance to meet her... have 5 months to arrange it, wish me luck. Dad is 82 and has been a fan of her since she entered show biz...
I remember her best in Sound Of Music and the classic Mary Poppins with Dick van Dyke.
